How is information transmitted to you?
There are a number of different ways that the necessary information can be transmitted: fax, E-mail, FedEx or US mail.
What is the cost?
The cost for our services depends on a number of factors. Please fill out the simple and completely confidential rate quote form in our Request For Information page. This information will never be used for sales calls or sold to third parties.
Will we have to sign a contract?
Yes. New Horizons Medical Billing Services requires a one year signed contract, prior to initiating any services. However, this contract can be terminated by either party with a 30 day written notice
.
Do you transmit claims electronically?
New Horizons Medical Billing Services submits claims electronically to all carriers that accept claims electronically. Insurance carriers that do not or are not equipped for electronic claim submission will receive claims non paper utilizing the standard HCFA 1500.
Will you file claims to secondary payers?
Yes, secondary claim submission is part of our services.
Where do checks and correspondence go?
For this question, there are two options, dependent upon preference:
• All checks and correspondence will be mailed to the provider's office.
• Provider may have all checks and correspondence sent to New Horizons Medical Billing
Services address for processing and distribution. Checks can then be forwarded to the provider or deposited into the provider's account, whichever is preferred.
